can you die from eating too much gold? and if you can, how much gold would it take?

Gold is a very unreactive substance, so any amounts you eat will simply pass through your digestive system unchanged.

That being said, I think gold could kill you if you ate a piece large enough to block your digestive tract.

enough to choke on or perhaps seriously damage your digestive system. Gold itself is not toxic. It passes right through you, as it cannot be digested. So you would have to eat enough to damage your stomach or intestines by physical means.
