those that like both, which ones do you think are normally smarter?

depends on what they're doing!! obedient wise, dogs by a long shot!!! Independence wise cats by far!!!

i love cats but cant have them because my husband is allergic, i think dogs are smarter but they can both be trained

It's already been stated. My cat hated all different animals, then she needed to transfer in to my ex-girlfriends apartment and he or she has a small puppy. The 2 had a few animosity, however they hang around in combination now and just about get alongside.

cats r clever and i dont have to much of an experience with dogs(i hate them) so i only have the scoop on cats
