I mean, look at all the $$$$ spent on Prom. Is it an Industry in and of itself?

Of course. If there's money to be made, they will find ways to do it. Look at how hyped up Holidays are in Stores. Any of them for that matter. Halloween in August. Christmas in October. Retail is trying it's best to make the most of the situation. It's only going to get worse.

It goes to rich ppl who deck themselves out in designer duds. which goes to ppl who work for the designer which is spent on food, which pays the farmer who is sending his daughter or son to the prom. Its all a vitious cycle
