My son just started to drink coffee and he forgot to put sugar in it. I told him if he wants good tasting coffee then he must use more sugar than coffee.

I have a friend who's addicted to coffee... and she's only 14 years old. O_O It's insane... but my mom is a coffee addict, and she's 6 feet tall, so I don't know if it actually stunts your growth that much or not. Maybe I should start chugging coffee so I won't get any taller...
And yeah, you put a lot of sugar in your coffee! My goodness! Try drinking green tea or something in the morning, it's much healthier for you and it doesn't give you repulsive breath and unbearably ugly yellow teeth.

I wouldn't worry too much. One day it's good for you the next it's bad. I love drinking coffee. I use 1 1/2 tsp. of creamer and fake sugar in my cup. I don't feel bad about drinking it because scientifically, researchers have found that it has beneficial antioxidants in it. As far as your age, probably old enough to enjoy. Watch out for the caffeine though, it has some come down effects.

Ok, I can't tell you definitively whether or not it stunts your growth, but this is what I can tell you...
Coffee (especially a lot on a regular basis) will TOTALLY yellow your teeth.
That much creamer and sugar is HORRIBLE. You're consuming a LOT of empty calories (no health benefit). At bare minimum, switch to non-fat milk and Splenda...
I can understand your situation, I'm a coffee lover, too. But, everything in moderation. Try to drink a lot of water and/or green tea to keep yourself hydrated, instead of that extra cup of coffee.

I'm 55 and have been drinking coffee for 40 + years. I'm 6ft. 3 inches in good health. I drink around 7-10 cups a day for the last 30 + years. Lastest info says it's not bad for you. Maybe too much sugar though that you use. Your taste will change as you get older.

there is no scientific proof. My little Brother has been drinking coffee since he was 2, and he grew up to be 5'-11 or 6'...
My son drinks coffee, he's only 3.
I wouldn't worry.

I like lots of cream and sugar in mine too. I love coffee too. Now I am a little bit older than you but I don't think it's that bad for a 16 year old.

Is it the coffee you love or the sugar and creamer. I drink mine with neither.
