The 'Crank Sensor' is located on the outside of the block at the bottom pulley at the end of the Crank Shaft .It is attached to the block with a wire harness connected to it.The 'Pulley' is mounted on the 'Harmonic Balancer' at the very end of the Crank Shaft. You can get a Chilton or Haynes Auto Repair Manual at any Auto Parts Store for future reference.

These vans don't have crank sensors, with the 3.0L, as it has a distributor on it. There should be a sensor under that cap there though.

It doesn't have a crank sensor. It uses the distributor. Which very, very seldom ever gives a problem.
