I have a 1950 ford F-1 and I upgraded it from 6volt to 12 volt can I still use the starting button?

Yes, you can. In fact, at 12V, the original button will likely have less current passing through it than it did with the lower voltage system, so it'll be easier on the contacts.

It's only a button. As long as you have 12V feeding it, then you'll get 12V out. Make sure you have a good set of contacts in it. Shouldn't be a problem.
