My friends and I must have found 400 incredible vinyl records put out in the trash behind Half Price Books today. It's amazing, the things that some people throw away!

I can't believe anyone would throw away Vinyl now. Found some cool things in a Dump. Not one of those Landfills, but a small Private Dump. Found this Wheel set, sort of like what would go underneath a Garden Cart, but Heavy Duty. My neighbor and I put a Car Seat on it, and a Hitch, and pulled it behind an ATV. It was safer than riding on the Fourwheeler.

we found some gold coins and some real diamonds,behind a jewelry store a long time ago in the dumpster,and we found a whole case of food stamps thrown away also in the same trash recepticle.but that was about 15 years ago.we have also found purses with money and lots of knick knacks.my hubbie use to be a regular dumpster diver.but you cant do that eny more.shucks

My dad works at a college, so he gets to go through the students trash since they have to empty their dorms. So I get a buttload of clothing, books, and right before christmas, I got a Fiona Apple sheetmusic book I had asked for.

My father in law has made a hobby out of dumpster diving...he has found some pretty cool things...from gold jewelry, furniture, bikes...you name it...he has probably found it.
My mom brought home a bunch of plants once that the botany building on her campus threw out.
My dad brought home some old wooden antique office chairs and refinished them...
I don't guess I have followed in their foot steps...

i had to go to a public laundromat when i was traveling last year, & found a cool hot pink & zebra print monster fur hat that someone had thrown on top of the trash inside the laundry...i grabbed it up, took it home & hand cleaned it & i wear it sometimes when i go out clubbing!!! haha
