Every day I find that the questions here are well ... random & down right dumb some times, but today, for some reason, takes the cake!! It can't be that I'm especially sarcastic and or simply easily annoyed today ... is today like, ooooohhhh, I dunno, "The freaks come out at night" day or something? I'm about to kick myself in the head it hurts so bad from the absolute ignorance I'm finding. Is anybody with me? (Please note that I am easily annoyed by stupidity, but wow! I don't think I can take it anymore!) I'm thinking about boycotting YA all together cause if I see another retarded ???, I'm gonna die!

OH BOY THIS IS FUN! I'm even more amused by the answers I'm getting than the questions I see.
Granted, some people are not so smart, and others don't speak English too well, and you know what ... I accept that as a reality, and I don't care that that's the case.
What I'm talking about is people who waste time asking random dumb questions, not ??? that they OBVIOUSLY don't know the answers to. I can tell when someone really needs to know cause they are ignorant (and not by choice).
But the fact that some people are actually getting upset by my question makes me laugh! Literally!
I don't care what people do with their time (I'm on here all day cause I can be - my job allows me to surf all day), and I do enjoy reading the questions that make me think or learn something new, and I enjoy being able to educate someone who has a legitimate question, but I AM ALLOWED TO THINK WHAT I WANT ABOUT WHAT I WANT, RIGHT?
And thanks. but I am fully aware that I can leave if I want

well you may be annoyed by stupidity, but I am annoyed by ignorance, and you seem to have a lot of that. Did you ever think that some, not all, but some of these people really don't know and how the hell else are you supposed to learn if you don't ask? Why don't you get off your high horse and just ignore the questions you deem (from you high post stuck up your butt) stupid. Just go past them and look elsewhere and if you want to boycott Answers...GREAT, less ignorant close minded people like you the better.

I must admit that generally some of the questions are way off although I do not dwell too much on them. I think that it is because SOME people really don't have anything else to do and some want to stir up strife. Some of them are really genuine and really wants some answers and I try to help. I for one do not ask any questions at all because I see no need to.
If it disturbs you so much they just ignore the questions that disturbs you. Could you please identify some of these questions please?

Well you have to understand, people ask questions on here because they are totally lost on finding an answer. Not everyone is highly educated like yourself. Some are even just young teens or are from a different country that doesn't know much. Also i see some people taking advantage by asking questions that are totally obvious, but what can you do? its freedom of speech

I strongly dislike counting on somebody such as you for my grade. i could be yelling at you too. once you're at school, college is the main needed component of your existence. you're a sort of persons who basically elect to eek by employing, yet others elect to stand happy with the gang. i've got faith sorry for this guy and could be livid with you. and btw...take some English and grammar classes, you sound illiterate.

I am literally laughing out loud at this because I feel your pain sister. I felt the exact same way yesterday. I thought about asking "is there a full moon out tonight?" because of all the freaks and just downright STUPID questions that were on here yesterday. But I thought nah, why waste my points, I didn't want any answers from them anyways. So I just sit back and let them amuse me!

I agree, stupidity is annoying. Just be grateful that it's not contagious. Another reason for stupid questions could be that they're just suffering from boredom and have nothing better to do, or they're really idiots. I can't be angry by them because they're just so funny and amusing.

First of all--get over yourself. Sometimes stupidity is in the eye of the beholder. Granted, some of the questions are hopelessly stupid and downright insipid, which is why I ignore them. (I don't do stupid well, either).
I like to think of Y!A as an extension of the psych classes I took in college. Don't you find it fascinating what people fret over?
If you want to boycott, boycott.

My husband says I have a low tolerance for stupidity and I agree with your assessment of today. When it gets really awful, I just leave for a few days.

thanks for the laugh yes there are some stupid questions but there are also people that are way too serious and that's just as bad as the stupidity if not more irritating at least for me
