No, I want to see that document hung on the Democratic Party wall of shame for the next thousand years. The east room of the whitehouse should be appropriate, that way every time an american president gets on his hands and knees five times a day he can be reminded why.

Only if he is determined to show the entire country that he refuses to support the troops.
If he is so sure his is the only voice in the US Government, that he is willing to gamble the lives of American Soldiers. He will soon be out of business.

You and Bush are awfully bold with other people's lives. How does it feel to be one of a handful of "True patriots" in a nation of "America haters"? You're good at talking tough, why aren't you fighting in Iraq? Why wouldn't you back a plan for troop withdrawal so you could fight terrorists in your own back yard? Chicken hawk.

That's about all it's good for , other than slapping our troops in the face. If you've noticed the traitor Harry Reid has shown his true colors this week when it comes to supporting our troops. Once again he has shown that to him it's more important to be a good democrat than being a good American.

I do. I hope he spikes it and then congress comes up with another bill that has no deadlines in it. I think it would be like handing the Democrats the 2008 elections on a silver platter.

The dems of the house and senate at this point in history will go down as the ones who didn't fund the troops in harms way. No matter what they do, it'll all point back at them. Back door slow bleed or front door legislative duty. Why don't they have the guts to just go ahead and do it right up front? It is their constitutional right.
I wouldn't be honking my own horn if I were a dem right now.
