You didn't say what you have to offer? Most people will say be yourself and mostly that will be true, but I would say as long as it's not 'stalkerish' you could go to her dance performances if you're friends and it may be normal to do so. Just because she's in AP doesn't mean you have to be but you shouldn't be a dummy either. Take challening courses and have goals so that when you meet her parents they're not thinking (oh great, a loser). Maybe you could find out what extra-curricular club(s) she's in and join one or find out where she volunteers and volunteer there too (nearly ALL AP kids volunteer somewhere). Again, avoid being a stalker. Just pick one of the above, hmmm? That way, if she's not into you then you only have one thing to walk away from :-) You could also try asking her to a dance before someone else does! Good luck, buddy!

definitly be yourself and just be comfotable around her. girls like that when a guy is relaxed and not all nervous. also shes a dancer? coming from a dancer show your moves at a school dance or something dance with her. dancers like dancing with guys who WANT to dance. its hard to find guys who want to go dance they usually are just wall flowers and thats why you have bout 50 girls dancing together and maybe like 2 guys. So dance with her and show her your having fun she'll like that. and dont worry bout the AP classes. shes not going to say no to you just because you dont have a 4.0 or taking AP classes...if shes's smart she wont

If she is smart [evidenced by her enrollment in AP classes], then she probably wants to talk to someone who is comfortable with themselves, can hold intelligent conversations, has a sense of humor and isn't an ignorant fool.
So, as long as you have a bit of wit about you, and you act like yourself, she'll see you for the great guy that you probably are.

gosh...lol...this sounds a lot like me with the sophomore and the dancing and the ap classes
look, the only thing you can do is be yourself...nothing is wrong with that! if she don't like you for you, then you don't need her at all!!
