that is your opinion. unless the government has complete control over anyone's specific diet, it is up to the individual to select from what is available on a grocery store shelf, considering it falls under the category of food.

I think we already have too many control freaks in the government. I would just give people with very low incomes a money supplement so they could afford an adequate diet, and let them spend to maximize their utility like everyone else does.
