Harry Reid is not intimidated and he is not stupid. Some very childish individuals believe one must walk in lockstep with the fearless leader but democracy depends its very survival on dissent, difference of opinion and diversity. Those opposing these things could just as well favor totalitarianism as it favors agreement only and no dissent of any kind. Everyone must be exactly the same without diversity of any kind.
A well known totalitarian government had such practices and that is evidenced by this quote:
Hermann Goering, second in command of the Third Reich and key founder of the Nazi party, said; “Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger”.

..and as far as Reid, I think is great that Reid cannot control his mouth, and that the Dems think it is OK to keep him on as their spokesman's....Wouldn't be surprise is he is being used to "test " the waters so to speak.
...certainly helps my party.... I say Reid, open your mouth, and do it often!
