I have that problem...I am a skimmer and so the answer may not make since.

It is ok to skim as long as you absorb the important words and leave out the : the, that, so etc.... I read the entire question cause if you don't you may miss an important detail that would make your question not even fit the form. I can speed read...glad I learned it.

I like to read so I always read the whole thing. And I've never posted a long question.

I don't. I like details. I assume people are asking these questions because they'd really like to know, not just to ask it for the hell of it. It takes more than 1 sentence to make a point sometimes. Take the time to read them, you might find something interesting.

I get very annoyed by people who do not read the question. The bold part is not the whole question, that is just the headline to tell a basic idea what the question is about.

Yeah, well learn to read, not skim. But no, I ALWAYS read the whole question before answering.

I can tell that by the way some people answer my questions that they didn't read them right or take my meaning correctly. C'est la vie!

especially if they write too many details. If they write a whole passage, it is a bit much. I look for the questionmark. no big deal.
