We here in the PHILIPPINES uses LPG on taxi cabs. There are unconfirmed reports of side effects of LPG. What are the side effects of LPS that you are sure off. Medical view and mechanic views are most welcome. Real and actual knoledge please!!

as far as damages to the engine none they just burn a lot cleaner than gas you lose a little hp and fuel mileage
but you don,t have all of the impurities to build up in the engine as you do with gas on forklifts that run them you can expect a gas engine to run about 10,000 hours before needing a rebuild on the same engine running on lp gas that normally goes up to between 14 to 15,000 hours i have seen a few with over 25,000 hours
but if they are not serviced on a regular schedule the mileage drops
as far as ill effects to a driver i would think it wouldn,t be as bad as a gas engine

Knowledge of the mechanical side of LPG fueled auto------------ the LPG burns clean and without carbon black leaving the tail-pipe -- the plugs stay clean and the environs are not harmed nor are the humans harmed ---- it is not cheaper unless you are Con-ED or some big corp. but it does not hurt the "green" people............
