How can I get rid of a 70's-80's( I don't know what year exactly because it was my dads, who passed away) snowmobile wit no keys, in Chicago?

www.Craigslist.org
www.freecycle.org

both websites are very good. Craigslist you can give away for free or charge $10 or something. To give away on Freecycle it has to be free. You can even put it in the alley. The junk man will eventually come and pick it up.

I'd try EBay first.

Even with no keys, title, or half the parts missing, it is worth something to someone. Unless you are going to do the research or spend the money to get it running, you are better off letting the market dictate what it is worth. Get a very good description of the snowmobile including the Make, model, year, engine size. Lots of pictures too.. Also list any accessories, and parts that may be missing or damaged. Start the bidding really low and see how it goes. Just be sure that you are the legal owner of the snowmobile before trying to sell it!

If you know how much you want for it then try one of the free classifieds like craigslist.com.

Good luck
