That would be a very horrible thing to do to a person. I don't understand why you would even do that. You may as well just be truthful and let them decide whether they want to go hungry.
Some vegetarians have serious reasons for not wanting to eat meat.
I hope you will stop and try to remember the "Golden Rule". It is a great rule to use in your everyday life!

Ive never eaten meatloaf. But im sure if its something you purposely dont eat, then your gonna know if you eat it, even if you smell it. I think. Thats also not a very nice thing to do. What if someone gave you a dogburger or something telling you its just beef!

They may not taste the difference when they are eating it, but they will know the difference when their bodies assimilate and eliminate the food.
In case you are not aware, meat is very hard to digest and it takes the body a long time to process it. If a person does not eat meat regularly, then eating meat may cause indigestion, constipation, gas and bloating and insomnia.
Finally, eating meat will change the color, odor and texture of the feces that is later eliminated.

That would be pretty funny. If they actually enjoy the meatloaf would that mean that they are not a real vegetarian?

I don't think that would be a very nice thing to do.
People have the right to choose what they eat and by doing that you are not only taking away their freedom of choice you are showing lack of respect for that person.

That would not be fair! Suppose they were allergic to meat and got sick. And yes, you can tell the difference.
