Where I am at it just went down from 2.86 to 2.81 a gallon. But there is no reason for the gas prices to be so high. It has not been a harsh winter and not that many people are traveling. The Powers That Be are upping the gas prices to panic the American people into letting them drill in places that have been denied them. They figure if they can rise the price up enough we will be stupid enough to let them drill in that National Preserve in Alaska and off the coast of FL. If we do this they will use it also as an excuse not to develop alternative fuels. And look at the mess BP made with their broken pipe. There was absoultely no monitoring of oil flow and for weeks that pipe had been leaking oil. We are goign to have a natural disaster where this happened because when then oil came out it was very hot and melted the ice under the pipe and then it froze over. When global warming hits that area all that ice is going to melt along with the oil and just contaminate everything. There is not enough oil in that preserve to justify drilling. Have you also noticed that after a company has been denied drilling or mining rights in a National Forest then a fire occurs. Next thing you know there is mining or drilling because there is no longer a forest there.

Really??? I am also in Northern California and regular is about $3.35. I have to use premium because of the car I drive and it cost me over $50.00 to fill up a 15 gallon tank, These prices are freaking killing me. Is there no one accountable for this? How can people just allow these companies to rape like this and get away with it?

a procedures too plenty. My suggestion. in case you are able to return and forth by utilising yet another ability than utilising your own automobile, gain this. Now of direction, i'm all too conscious that a lot of human beings have no option yet to apply their autos. So, why do not the rest persons provide the Oil agencies some thing to think of approximately and merely end figuring out to purchase patrol/gasoline for a at a similar time as? it won't harm and that's a promise. believe me, i'm an authority and a common boycott of the pumps will quickly convey the fee down. the fee of petrol/gasoline will fall besides - that is already slowly happening and in particular that is by way of human beings staying faraway from the pumps. This afternoon I exceeded 2 garages on the bus, the two one among which basically had a pair of autos getting gasoline. Now often those self same 2 garages are jammed by utilising approximately 4pm once I exceeded. not to any extent further they ain't. BP shrink your costs on the pumps now.

And I thought paying $2.79 a gallon for regular was bad. It took over $50 to fill my car up. Hoping prices will go down soon just doesn't look that good though. N. Mississippi

In Bellingham, WA which is in the northwest corner of the state, the cheapest gas at Costco is $3.05. That was a couple days ago so it's probably higher by now. The average price is probably about $3.25.
The oil companies are refining less gas to drive up prices.

In Australia we pay 129.9 per LITRE and there are 3.78541 LITRES to your gallon so it would cost roughly $4.91 Australian per gallon. And that is in Perth, West Australias capital city. In the country town I used to live in it is about $1.40 a litre which equates to $5.29 Aus a gallon. You guys have it good compared to us!
