A Dwarf Gourami, would be a great choice. They are beautiful fish and stay small (2 inches maximum).

Good Luck

I'll agree that a 5 gallon will be limiting. African dwarf frogs are usually compatible with fish (unless they are very small) - it's the African clawed frogs that will eat them.

Do you have a heater and filter in the tank? Frogs like warmer water, so if you do have both, you might want to try platies (moons) or variatus - they come in a variety of gold, orange, and red colors and one that's silver-blue. They only get about 2" and I'd recommend two males so they won't reproduce and overcrowd your tank. A single betta or dwarf gourami would also work if you don't have a filter - these can breathe air from the surface. See the website at the end for photos of these fish.

You could also just get your frog some buddies - they're more fun when they're kept in a group.

I think that the person who invented 5 gallon tanks should be shot...that is wayyyy too small for any fish. Just leave the frog in there and opt for a larger tank.

What length replaced into the tank then? I dont understand all those squiggles next to 2 numbers. For a 30 gallon, you ought to truly do 5-6 cory catfish for the backside, then a school of 10 tetras (persist with bloodfins, neons, cardinals, glowlights, black neons, and a few others. certainly, persist with the small and non violent species. you ought to do serpaes, lemons, black widows, or the huge bodied species in case you dont have any long finned fish in the tank.) Then, you ought to do 2 gouramis in case you needed to. My 29 gallon has the cory catfish and bloodfin tetras. Then, there are approximately 7-8 lady bettas.

The frog is going to be a killer. Anything small enough to survive in a 5 gallon has no chance with the frog.

Corydoras catfish,weather loach.
Most fish will be attacked by the frog, trying to eat them. 5 gallon-tank is very limited.
