Yes. I am guilty, but not on purpose. Maybe I need to turn it off, but it depends on who is calling. I have the cell-phone for family emergencies. Why have a phone if it is turned off? If it is important or if a family member is calling I will answer it and then call back in a quiet place. Sorry, no offense intended..

I do but I try not to. I think it is rude to talk to someone on the phone in public. At times the conversations to others are weird because they only hear one side of it.

No I don't. It's one of my biggest pet peeves having to listen to other peoples conversations in the store, or bank. I don't care if they're outside but hang it up when you go inside.

Yes, that's the point behind owning a cell phone. To answer those calls that you would otherwise miss.

if it rings i will answer it if it might be important but i hate it. I work in retail and it is hard for me to do my job when people have the phone stuck to their ear.

I only do in emergencies and even then I excuse myself. I can't stand all the ignorant people walking and driving around while on cell phones, totally oblivious to their surroundings. To me, it seems rather low class.
