Find new friends. Best friends don't lie to you.

Well I think that you should ask them why they are lieing to you. If they keep lieing to you constantly then you should either not be friends with them or just ignore them when you know they are telling a lie. I would also tell his or her parents about it because that is the right thing to do. You may not like doing it but it is good to do for your friend because soon she will have no friends because of her lies and so she needs to stop lieing. You are doing a good thing by asking people this question. Hope you figure something out!!!! :^)

I can totally relate to you. one of my best friends constantly lied to me and my other friends. In the end, we decided to talk to her about it. It didn't go so well at first, but slowly, i think she's beginning to realize that you can't lie to your friends. I think that if you tried to talk to them, and they still don't listen, then find a new best friends. A friend like that is not worth keeping.

Anyway, if they keep lying to to obviously that have an issue with telling the truth, sometimes your *friends* lie to get attention, sometimes they lie because they dont want to hurt your feelings, and sometimes they just have a compulsion.
It's really nothing to do about it if once you confront them they continue to do it, it could just be in their nature at which point i would suggest discontinuing the friendship.

ur friend probably has a good reason 2 lie. my friends do similar things, but i don't get mad, bcuz i think that they have reasons to do that. but, if the lies just get worse, tell her 2 stop it.

if ur "best friend" lies to you then their not your best friend...they make you believe that theyre your friend but they make up lies..if ur friend can't be honest to you ...then thats not a friend at all..best friends tell each other every thing..ur friend should'nt have to lie to you if she/he's ur friend

tell her the next tme she lies that you know shes lying to you. i dont know exactly what your friend is lying about because your response depends on the subject. but just tell her something like, "that's not true." when she lies.
