i went to the doctors the day i had the miscarriage. he checked me over and then sent me home. he did not offer me a scan or anything? i know the baby had all gone because of the big clots followed by heavy bleeding. it then slowed down the next day then stopped late that night.

My friend's wife got pregnant right after her miscarriage. Her doctor said it was the easiest time to get pregnant because everything is ready for action.

Has your gyn checked you out since the miscarriage? If it wasn't totally expelled, there could still be some placental or other tissue in there that's screwing you up. If that's the case, you'll need a D&C.

I doubt you'd get pregnant from sex the day after a miscarriage, but you could certainly have gotten re-pregnant since then.

Good luck.

And try not to freak too much. Miscarriages suck but lots of women go on to have healthy babies afterwards. I lost a pregnancy in January of 2005 and had a healthy baby in February of 2006.

I just can`t see how you could bleed for only one day after a mis...? That is not good. Did you go to the hospital ? Thing is, you don`t know if everything has come away that should have come away - and you need to be checked by a doctor. I wouldn`t try for another baby until you`re sure your womb is completely empty. You will end up with a very bad infection and be very ill if it isn`t - pregnant or not.

First of all, you can't conceive the day after a miscarriage. The pregnancy hormones are still hanging around and will delay your ovulation for a while. I would wait until you get your period and then start trying again after that. The cramps are probably from ovulation or impending menstuation. Good luck on concieving!

Please go to the doctor for an exam. You need to make sure everything is gone after your miscarriage. It's strange to only bleed for one day, so you need to make sure you are completely recovered.

As for a new pregnancy, it might be too soon. Your body has had less than 4 weeks to recover. I don't know that your body will start ovulating that quickly. It is possible though, so no matter what you need to see your doctor.

Good luck

Its possible but I dont know. You would think you wouldnt be able to get pregnant because you still have hcg in your blood so your body will not ovulate yet. Its sort of strange you only bled for one day. Have you followed up with your dr? It could be debris let inside from your m/c also. But then again you never know and you could have gotten pregnant so soon, but I really see that being hard to do. Have you taken a pregnancy test yet? If so, I would. Then contact your dr. Good luck

you might still be pregnant, you can have breakthrough bleeding or vanishing twin, if two eggs were fertilized. have you taked another pregnancy test? are you still not bleeding?I miscarried last year but even though i was bleeding they tested my blood for the hormone levels to make sure they were dropping. I would call the doc!

Take a pregnancy test.
If you're not pregnant you should probably get checked out by the doc. Sometimes if your body's not ready it doesn't want to get pregnant. You may have to take the time to deal with your emotional loss.

I'm really sorry to hear of your MC
