They do???
Woman are discriminated against more than women. Higher pay is a discrimination not a right. Getting better jobs is a discrimination not a right. However they don't have more rights then women.
However when a woman get pregnant they are the ones to decide rather or not to have the baby. Men have no legal say in the process one way or the other. They only have to pay child support for the next 18 years if the women decides to have the baby.

In the western hemisphere a man has less rights than a woman. In the eastern hemisphere it is due to tradition and religion that the rights of men and women differ vastly.

This question appeared naive but is actually a good question and sure did bring out alot of interesting answers. There's no right answer. It's something we inherited from our less evolved ancestors and what we need to change. Men and women are equally intelligent. Since most people don't need to be physically strong, etc to compete in modern society, and there's plenty of other marketable skills one can use to compete in modern society, there's no real reason men should have more rights for example simply cuz they're stronger.

Historically in western society, the male is the head of the family. Thus he has the rights. Females are subject to the male.

PS. Some societies are the opposite and the woman have all of the rights and own everything.

That´s the silliest thing i´ve ever heard... if you are a woman and are not able to make others respect your rights then that´s your deal... no need to be that general.. i am a woman and i never felt like any of my rights was cut because i always fight to be treated as what i am.

yup men have more rights: the right to lose custody in a divorce, the right to lose a house after years of hard work, the right to pay alimony, the right to go straight to jail for defending yourself against a woman....let me know if you need me to go on.

If that is what you believe you given away your power. You must put yourself out there and stand up for yourself. Women in our own way can influence the world and have. Don't let anyone use you or put you down because you are a woman. Remember the song I am woman hear me roar?

Which rights exactly?

Women can choose what to do with the baby. If they want an abortion and the man wants it, too bad. If she wants to keep it and he doesn't want it, too bad he has to pay child support.

Women criminals get a lighter punishment (jail time) than their male counterparts for the exact same crime.

Women get more scholarships and funding for their health.

They are a lot more things like this too...
