No, It wasn't so wise He has been neglected all the time
He should be given some chance.He had not been given any chance since few months. No matches he played in world cup....
He is a good bowler, It is different that he has lost his line and length but one chance should be give....Sehwag has been given lots of chances...similarly pathan should also be given

When any player is not in form and fails to perform to his potential he should be defenitely dropped irrespective of his reputation. However, in case of talented youngster like Irfan Pathan enough opportunities should be given to help him to regain his form by giving proper coaching and expert advice.
