I'm a student (soon to be Respiratory Therapist) and also am working as a Respiratory Therapy's assistant, until school is done. No regrets yet! My dream job would be to be a Vet, but too much $$$ and it's REALLY hard....what about you?

Retired Accountant! I liked it a lot but I have always enjoyed working with numbers in any fashion. I also enjoy office work. I was able to retire early on those wages by saving and investing well. Therefore, I have no regrets in that area.

I wanted to be a GYN or a Pediatrician but I got married way too young and gave up that dream. I had to work at many jobs before I was able to work my way up to the Accountant job.

I hope you reach your dream of being a Vet. If you continue to strive for that goal and don't take you eye off of that, there should be no reason not to reach it.

My grandson is bound and set and determined to also be a Vet. He is so fasinated with animals and loves them dearly. I also pray he will stick to that dream.

Do not dwell on the money that will be necessary, find a way, search the web, search the library, search college counselors, don't give up . There are all kinds of information out there, you just will have to keep trying until you find what you need.

Hon, don't give up. I hope you make your dreams come true.

I don't know how old you are or if you are still single or not.

If you don't have children yet, try to keep it that way until you've reached your goals. That was my downfall on my dreams of becoming a GYN or a Pediatrician. I became pregnant at the age of 17 and back then "you had to get married". What a dumb thing to do.

I ended up miscarrying 3 weeks after I married and then stayed married to the jerk for 12 miserable years. Anyway, that is the reason that helped ruin my goals or I thought I had allowed my goals to have to be finished. I really should have followed my dreams, anyway.

Good Luck, Dear!

I am a Senior Software Engineer, I am very happy and proud of that. I dream to be the CTO of my company.

I wish you'll be a Respiratory Therapist soon, and a vet.

And of course too much $$$

Went to school to be an actor...ended up owning a business manufacturing network computer cables and products. I still act whenever I get the call from my agent, but am happy making $ and calling the shots. Funny the paths we travel to get to where we are.
