My husband and I are renewing our vows in Stuttgart Germany next February, and would like to take a quick honeymoon in Europe (3 days maybe) Our personal list of where we would like to visit is enormous, and we were wondering is someone is incredibly passionate about a specific city/area that would fit with a romantic honeymoon escape...

Those other answers are helpful, but suppose you want to stay closer to Stuttgart. In that case, I would recommend a romantic place like Hohenschwangau (4 hours by train from Stuttgart), where the famous Neuschwanstein Castle is located. Very wintry and picturesque in February. You can take sleigh rides, etc.

Or how about Baden-Baden, the spa capital of Germany? You could get favorable winter rates in one of the luxury hotels. They have all sorts of spa treatments, and you would enjoy great food and wine.

Venice is nice but the beaches in Croatia are beautiful. If you want to wait until July until the temperature is right I would highly recommend it. Makarska or Baska Voda are two beautiful cities on the Adriatic Coast. Prices are not too outrageous and there are many beautiful restaurants and hotels. If you consider Croatia email me for I am Croatian and have been there many times. I know many good websites that can help. Also I have been to Venice so I can answer questions about that. Good luck!

Beside the bedroom for a quickie, since you mentioned it, go to Venice and ride a gondola, after that you always can feed the pidgeons at St. Marco Place.
You can even take the train from Stuttgart.

I just read it will take place in February...shoot.!..winter, cold, snow, rain...forget about Venice....go to Zermatten, Switzerland, actually any place in the Alps (Austria, Italy, France)

MONACO all the way. Though a little pricy it has a beutiful beach and plus a lovely urban area. you will positivily absolutly love it. It also has a casino for those gamblers.
it has a rich history and plus a very euro type of architecture.
