Unfortunately, in the current administration that seems to be the case. Isn't it interesting that there is a new scandal almost daily? The republicans are still pissin' and moanin' about Clinton's bj. They need to worry about what their party is doing NOW.

There have been some very good Republican Administrations free of much of that stuff. But you are correct that it seems more of it does occur in Republican Administrations. Will they darken the White House so much it will become the Black House?
The most corrupt seem to be Grant, B. Harrison, Harding, Nixon and G.W. Bush. Least corrupt Republicans would be Lincoln, Hayes, T. Roosevelt, Eisenhower.

Sure. The Clinton administration was SO truthful, chaste, moral and considerate, and free of ALL corruption. The Carter Administration had NO flaws or dark days. And Johnson NEVER had a scandal, did he? There was NO corruption involved in Kennedy's Bay of Pigs incident, and Eisenhower was a model president!
That takes us back to the 1950's. Shall we continue?

Let me just say this:
"Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely" (see below for attribution).
The point being, whether it is the Bush White House, the Clinton White House or whomever is in control, we (the American people) always have to suffer because of the bozos we elect.
Maybe its time we wise up and vote for someone with integrity instead of personality.
(attribute:)
An observation that a person’s sense of morality lessens as his or her power increases. The statement was made by Lord Acton, a British historian of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Ohh help, we're being lied to by the big bad republicans!!! Why does the left think they have the right to know the most confidential inner workings of the government? And how have their lies affected you? Do you know what you should be complaining about? The lies that the Democrats have told about having a non partisan agenda and fixing the problems in the war.

You're absolutely right. Things like Pardongate, Monicagate, Paulagate, Travelgate, Vince Fostergate, Giving China top secret missile techniology for campaing contributions, murdering 88 people in Waco, TX, Kidnapping a Cuban child in miami and sending him back to Cuba, abandoning troops in Somalia, Gennifergate, Web Hubblegate.
Wait a minute, those things were all crimes committed by the Clintons.

It happens no matter which party is in power. Power is the source of the problem. Notice how they are always flexing their arm muscles waving whether they're slamming the gavel, shaking their finger or their fists. It all seems to be the same today.

Many modern politicians have issues, regardless of political affiliations, and the seduction of power can lead to the lying, corruption, and abuse of power that we see happening. Again, it happens regardless of political affiliation, religious beliefs, or any other divisive factor.

Yeah, unlike Clinton who gets a hummer under the table, or that they created a fund to avoid taxation, or that he had one of his cabinet members steal documents to hide the knowledge of a possilbe US attack before 911. Yeah, Democrats in power really care. You are the pilar of the democrat voting base, uniformed and misled.
