If u were sexually abused by older girls when you were younger but they were being abused by an older man does that mean u should report them if not how can you get rid of the thoughts in ur head?

I will tell you unequivically and without question yes you can survive abuse. Better yet when you survive abuse you build in a self preservation mechanism that will prevent further abuse. It is growing and all abusers, both men and women, should be aware that this country has had its fill of abuse of their fellow man and is just about ready to make some changes. Abusers, you have been warned and you need to get over yourself as this is your doing and there is no poor me poor my left. No sympathy for someone that intentionally abuses anyone. The penalty should be sufficient to provide deterrance!!!!!!!

The only way sexual abuse or any kind of abuse for that matter will be stopped is when it's confronted. Dont let it happen to you, be strong and get help. Just because someone else was abused, doesn't give them the right to do it to you. Stop the cycle!!!

Well, if you are being abused, YES, you SHOULD report it!!! You can survive abuse but, it never goes away! I was abused when I was 5, I am now 34 and I will never forget! I have learned to deal with it but, it will never go away! Good luck and God Bless!!

Typing this question proves you survived the abuse... NOW, go to a community mental health center and ask to speak to an abuse counselor (if you have no money or insurance, they provide free care); by all means, deal with this... or I can assure you that it will deal with you!

You should defintely report the problem. I also suggest you get a therapist or talk to your school counselor. Also suggest that the girls get counseling or some sort of treatment as well.

no they are doing what they were taught was right even though the one who taught them was sick i am sure they know now they were wrong to so try to forgive and you just think of it as the past and leave it there. I know it is easier said than done but it is up to you to break the pattern. We have no control over yesterday and we are not promised tomorrow so live your life as best you can for the moment

yes you should report them i was raped by older girls it wasn,t fun i was 7 they were older them me.also i was sexually abuse by my foster mother too.

yes you should if your mom killed your dad would it make it right for you 2 kill your husband? i am sure they were going through a lot and a judge/jury will look at that but you need to get it off your chest you will feel so much better
