I am needing to leave my husband (for the fourth time) and he has a HUGE BAD temper that scares the kids into tears and me, of course. Each time I went back. Now my son of 13 1/2 is showing what he's learned - bad temper (and grades) in school and getting in trouble for it. I HAVE to go, but who wants to tell him (my husband)? NOT ME!!!

Given the past history why not leave while he is at work? You can call him later in the evening from a pay phone ( so he doesnt have your number ) and explain to him why your leaving and that you are not coming back....ever. You need to stick to your guns this time, for your sons sake.

Well I can at least understand why are you having a hard time proving something you went back to four times. You have some real problems that need to be addressed, not just your husband. Get help for your mental problems out you will be no good for your son. A good mother would just leave and not look back.

see a lawyer on your own time and arrange for a place to go. when your husband isn't home, leave him a note saying you've left him and are filing for divorce and tell him why. this way, he won't accuse you of taking the boy away. contact the police to let them know what is going on. cover all your bases then leave. don't tell him where you are going let the lawyer take care of it. stand your ground this time. i have a friend who recently left her husband for the same reasons but the damage to her children is already done. i'll be truely amazed if they can get over this. best of luck to you

Tell him in a letter and then LEAVE-but if he ever truely repents -turns to Jesus & gets counseling, give him a chance. With God all things are possible.

Please leave him right away.Because most of the time a child only do what he sees. And that could affect how he treats women in the future.
