do you ever ask someone that? if you have to ask does that mean you dont feel the love?

I ask... "How much do you love me? Enough to... (vacuum the house? feed the cat and water the plants while I'm gone? etc...)"
If I really needed to know, I probably wouldn't ask. Weird, hey?

Sometimes you need to ask, though I think that it is not the person you ask that lacks love, it is your own soul seeking gratification during a hard time, if someone does not love you it will be detected by your own heart as when it is full of love it glows, and when love is lacking it has a familiar pain. You know yourself that love is something special and if that is not what you are feeling then the second party has given up.

In a joking way I have asked knowing the answer, I take love seriously and if someone says it to me I take it they mean it and it is doing em a huge disfavour, massive if they say "I love you" if they don't but say it.. Likewise I only say it when I do love someone and have only said it a few times in recent years becasue I mean it.. not what you where asking but it is something I am careful when saying it...

Sometimes I ask it in a joking way but I guess if I really asked that questions I wouldn't be feeling loved

i think if u ask that then u dont feel loved. and im sorry if u are in love and dont feel love back. i know what u are going through.

Not necessarily. You might still feel the love but hearing affirmation is always nice. It reinforces your own feelings of love.

I don't ask because it's one of those things where if someone doesn't say "yes" a certain way then it sounds like they're just pitying you and if they say "no" then it'll sting pretty bad.
So I just don't ask. If they love me they'll show it or say it either way.

My ex girlfriend used to ask me that. She even asked "did you miss me" before I had a chance to say hello after her vacation. That is part of the reason she is an ex.

I think it could mean you don't feel the love....or it could mean...you like to feel it..and just love hearing it..
