i have a car just found out that it had some recalls in the past. am i able to bring it to the dealer and get the recalls fix for free? or what do i to fix these recalls on my car? thankyou

Yes, the dealer HAS to fix the recalls for free. Take your car to the dealer or maybe even call the dealer and give them the vin number. They can search for open recalls or campaigns. There have been recalls in the past for GM cars that they had to order parts for each individual car based on the cars equipment so bear that in mind.

You can take the car in and see if the recalls have already been performed on the car. They will also check and see if there are any outstanding. You should get a notice from the manufacturer is there are recalls. I always get mine in the mail. good luck

Most car manufacturers have a web site (or a dealer web site) and you should be able to find all the recalls based on the vehicle - I did on my car which is a Nissan by going to their main web site!@~

Yes you can if , If the previous owner did not get the recall don ,Call the dealership and ask them and make an appointment, good luck
