Pokemon-What happened to my Manaphy egg?

I beat the Manaphy egg mission in Pokemon Ranger and I received the egg. I transfered theegg to my Diamond Version and said it was successful. I checked all over and I can't find it any where!!!! I went back to Ranger to see if I could just transfer it again but it won't let me! Please help I'm very disapointed!!!

Go into any PokéMart and you'll see a guy in green. Talk to him and he'll give you the Manaphy Egg.
