in most states....yes, its legal. even if her parents were not ok with it. but if she wanted to get married before she turns 18, both parents have to sign a paper.

If her parents consent, there is nothing illegal about the engagement. She can get married with her parents consent depending on what the state laws are in your state. As for the physical side of the relationship without being married, that is against the law since she is under 18.

Being engaged at her age is legal. Getting married, depends on the state. Some states allow marriage as early as 16, but you need parental consent. Which it sounds like she's already got.

This is legal because they are only engaged. She can not legally marry him until she is 18 or unless her parents sign for her to get married. Her parents are probably going along with it because she is going to marry him anyway when she turns 18 so why put up a fight.

In situations like this where the parents are ok with it, should be ok in the eyes of society.
In some places, this guy could of course be put in jail BUT
why not. If mom and dad don't care, why should you?

No. If he has sex with her or even talks about sex to her he can be charged as a child molester and so can her parents being they are allowing it. Her parents are A holes.
