So far this season, I'd say the Red Sox are better. They have a better record and are playing better. However, the season is still young.

Although I am a New York Yankee fan, I have to say that the Boston Red Sox are doing extremely better than the Yankees. Statistics at this point in the season prove that right off the bat. A-rod is at his best, but the others have to step it up a little bit and they will be in great shape. The Red Sox are having an amazing an early start. Only time will tell who is better or in other words, the best. I believe that either the Yankees or the Red Sox will be in this year's World Series.

Red Sox. You know it's not a good sign for the Yankees when A-Rod gets off to the best start in the history of the game, and they still have a losing record. The Red Sox have one of the best rotations in baseball. The Yankees have one of the worst. The Yankees lineup is good, but there pitching is scary. You know things are bad for the Yankees when Mariano Rivera has 3 blown saves.

Why must this question be asked 10 time a day! Talk about beating a dead horse! Either everyone in Boston and New York go to Yahoo answers, or all teenage girls and bandwagon jumpers are fans of Boston or New York. I feel bad for the Mets fans having to hear about the Yankees and Red Sox every day!

It depends on what you mean by "better." The red sox obviously have less championships, but they tend to come out with better statisitcs than the Yankees. I also think that the yankees do better when it comes to records, like A-Rod this month. The yankees also get into more playoffs and world series than the red sox and get more pennants.

Oh great. It's the old are the Red Sox or Yankees better. Your not going to get a definite answer out of any of us. Or anybody to be infact. Everyone will side with their favorite team. Just like what I am about to do now...
The Yankees suck. Red Sox are way better and Yankees can't even win a World Series anymore. Nineteen-Ninty-nine! See you guys in the playoffs. Oh wait I don't think you'll make the playoffs. GO SOX!

Well being a Yankee fan, I say the Yankees are 10 times better. But I do have evidence. Comparing the lineups, bullpen, coaching/managing, and fan base, the Yankees have the upper hand. However, I am willing to admit the Sox have excellent starting pitching.

Well, the sweep last weekend might answer your question, however:
The Yankees starting rotation has more injuries than Walter Reed Memorial Hospital. Whereas the Red Sox have statistically the best pitching in baseball.
The red sox have the most wins in the AL, while the yankees are almost as bad as the d-rays
The Red Sox hit 4 consecutive homeruns off the yankees on Sunday, A-Rod is the only successful big hitter thus far
I realize that it's April, but hey, it's all we have to go on so far!

Which team has more World Series trophies? Which team has more division titles? That would be the Yankees! We'll see in October for this year. If your talking about in the history of baseball, it's not even a valid question. No team is as good as the Yankees. You can hate them but you can't deny history. If you hate them it's because they are better than your team. Jealousy is an ugly thing!
