Don't you have any other questions? If you really have a problem with Jesus, why don't you just find another religion?

Hi I will try my best to answer your question with just a few words.

When we talk about God, the Creator of the universe, we are stepping into the deepest mysteries of all. No mortal is qualified to answer these questions by speculation only. The good news for humanity is that God did not leave us like an absentee landlord or orphans without a revelation. The Bible is the revelation he left for us. The answers to your questions are in the Holy Bible:

1- Jesus was born a man in order to reach mankind. Man cannot endure the gloriest sight of God. It's like taking a flash light and pointing the light straight to your eyes. Would you be able to endure the light? Here are some examples from the Bible: please read these passages: Exodus 3:6; 20:18-22. Isaiah 6:1-7. There are plenty more verses like these!
In each of these passages the individual could not endure the glory of God. Here is one more from the new testament: Matthew 28:1-6. If the soldiers could not endure the sight of one angel, what about God Almighty Himself?! Do you now see why he sent a human being to communicate with human beings?

2- I would encourage you to read the first three chapters in Genesis. Read the Gospel of John in the new testament. Read the first letter to the Corinthians chapter 15.

3- The Bible is a faith book. It tells what happened, when, where, why , but it does not always give us a complete answer on the details of how. Read Deuteronomy 29:29. What God reveals to us is what we can know about Him.

4- Jesus is both man and God according to the entire Bible. The new testament makes it more explicit. All the prophets in the Bible spoke about a Messiah that was to come. This revelation was given by epiphanies of God and heavenly angels from the throne of God. The book of Hebrews in the new testament is a wonderful and most powerful book to read. It really explains the purpose for christ become a man. In the Bible you wont find all the answer to a topic in one book or passage. The Bible is a library of collected progressive revelation finish with the book of Revelation.

5- To give you a summary answer: Read John 3:16. Jesus came as a man and live like a man in order to show man that you can still overcome temptations and live holy lives. He came to reveal what the Father is like. He came to take care of the sin problem. No other Religion in the world answers to the sin problem. Read Isaiah chapter 1 and chapter 53.

In conclusion, your question demands more pages and really eternity itself because it a deep one. If you need more answer let me know.

The first word of your question says it all : IF.
The good question is : if there are any gods, can a god and a human give birth ? ant to what: a god or a human ?
Mythology gives a few answers: the Greek invented the "immortals" which are semi-gods but not gods. The Hindu believe that Buddha was born from the touch of the elephant-god to his mother, etc.
And please remark that animals only give birth to animals OF THE SAME SPECIES : cats and tigers could not mate for example. With a few exceptions : wolves-dogs (only 0,1 % genetic differences) can mate, but not fox-dog for example (only 1 % genetic differences) so the rules of nature are very strict regarding inter-species mating.
Jesus was a prophet, very successful. Full stop.

In the example of Tim LaHaye, author of the Left Behind series, let's say you were writing a play, and you wanted to meet all the characters in the play you wrote. Can you? Yes, all you have to do is make a character in your name, and write him into the play to meet your characters. So basically, Jesus is just the mortal representation of God made to start Christianity. As to the whole are we gods thing, I have a theory that humans are really fallen angels, serving punnishment for something we did, but I don't know what.

For you to have a belief that is real and right for you, not everyone else has to believe the same. Personally I think the Jesus as man theory is much more logical. However there are a lot of people that believe in the Jesus as God idea. Let them have their belief and you stick to yours.

Let's get this straight. Humans are animals. And, as the lady above implied, this question is getting old, today.

But, to put it in layman's terms, think of it as the VP of Sales for a major corporation going to a regular store, incognito, and working as the regular employees for a day. It's a re-acquaintance and a way to communicate, without the usual mumbo jumbo.

Because G-d made it so. It is not necessarily beneficial to us to know EXACTLY how G-d did it, even if we could know, we may not be able to understand. Anyway, Jesus was the 1st born of G-d from heaven (in stead of Adam) who could qualify to come and die for the sins of Adam and the world. (Adam was the first born of earth and the first born of sin) and therefore Jesus called Himself the "son of man" after Adam, because He made Himself the substiute sacrifice for sin to save humanity. Jesus was referred to as the "son of G-d" because that is what WE are and what we are supposed to be... (devoted, innocent children of G-d) which is why Jesus came to die to make it so. He came to destroy the separation (sin and disease) between G-d and mankind. In addition, G-d made man in His own image, who is also a "trinity": a body, (self explainatory) soul, (which is the power of who and what you truly are) and spirit (your mind, will and emotions). G-d has 3 aspects, but is one... just like us. -Read Genesis 1:26
In addition, the spiritual and whole understanding of G-d is One. I believe it is very important for people to believe in G-d's trinity, because it is only then that we can truly believe in ourselves and make a better world. For example, there is currently a severe disagreement among Jews and Muslims that it was Ishmael, (the Father of the Arabic people) that was almost sacrificed for G-d and so was the preferred son and his decendants were the ones given the land of Israel. But the other side says this was true not of Ishmael, but of Isaac (the father of the Jewish people) Whatever the case, this didn't happen and G-d provided a ram instead (I believe symbolizes how Jesus was the substitute sacrifice for all mankind to come) Read Genesis chapters 15-22 also Koran, but I'm not sure where.
It doesn't matter if Ishmael or Isaac was (almost)sacrificed if you believe in Jesus as Messiah. Because He is and was "the son" of G-d and "the son" of man, because Jesus WAS the sacrifice for all! It means that the people of both Isaac and Ishmael are equally important and precious to G-d, and gave all of them an equally valuable gift. The land of Israel, the land all around it and most importantly by far... the sacrifice of Jesus Himself, to be one in Him.

Jesus essentially was God, and is God...He was born of flesh to endure the burden of sin. He became man to suffer as man as an example. He felt sufferring as we do and suffered temptation as we do yet did not sin. He did this as an example for us and as a gift to us. He dies with us and for us. He became our mediator...Had he done this all as God it wouldn't have served it's purpose. Think about it a little. It's like this...imagine yourself in court facing all sorts of criminal charges ranging from rape to murder and all of the sudden some poor guy comes up and says, "whatever he is guilty of I take responsibility and punishment" That's essentially what Jesus did. He took our punishment...if we accept it...We don't have to be saints, we don't have to be perfect, we can still be human...we just have to accept this gift.

He is the son of God because he was sent for a specific purpose. Mary did not have intercourse to concieve Jesus, so in a way he was a spirit. If you believe in God, then yes we all have the spirit of Christ in us. But our parents had intercourse to concieve us.

Holy crap! I just saw your profile. You are one sick son!
