Yes, he would. But he would have a hard time dealing with the third spatial dimension without limbs or a torso.

It says everything of our understanding of the universe. Pac-Man was(is?) only interested in a few things: eating Pac-dots and not being consumed by ghosts. His awareness only spans as far as his interests.
Humans are the exact same way. For instance, we're blatantly ignorant when it comes to searching for life elsewhere in the universe. If a planet or moon doesn't contain the essential things that Earth provides for life then we immediatly dismiss it without thinking that, perhaps, the things living elsewhere absolutely do NOT need something like water to live.
We also automatically assume that something like Gravity exists everywhere in the Universe... How can anybody know that? There may very well be another dimension/universe that gravity plays no role whatsoever. But, due to our Pac-Man mentality, we'll never even think twice about it because we just want our dots and not to die.

Yes, there are several ways he can envision a 3rd dimension:
1- He would probably ask himself that if the cross sections of pixels he is able to see were intelligent, and one dimensional, could they figure out that there is a second dimension even though they can't move due to the fact that they are connected to other pixels?
2- Pacman would probably see us, since he has his eyes on the sides...
3- Pacman could think of the 3rd dimension as time - just like we sometimes do with the 4th dimension.
He would prove a third dimension to other pacmans by showing them that
1- If he eats a gosht, the gosht will reapear at another location.
2- He is able to warp on some places in the map
3- Tell other pacman to open their eyes, and look to the sides.

Hi Lioness, I tried to find "objectified" and "objectification" in the dictionary and no joy. Well, I'm not exactly sure I understand your queston, but think I might have an idea. Anyway, have you ever heard of the "bell curve"? It's a curve that is shaped like a bell and does a good job of representing statistics. As for beauty, at one end of the curve we have the least attractive and at the other end the most. The same would be true for income ... poorest on one side and richest on the other. In the middle of the bell we have all the average folks. I think what you're saying is true, but just simply a fact of life. We have the full spectrum for both genders. As for why guys don't protest ... I guess they realize that it's just the way things are and protests are unlikely to change anything. Hope this helps!

thats like saying....If I was tall, strong, fast, and athletic....would I be good at football?
besides that I dont think that proves anything about our understanding of the universe, only that we still know a very small portion of what there is to know......which is always gonna be true.....

Probably not.
If there were FOUR dimensions of space and one of time, instead of three, then we would also have a VERY hard time proving its existence because we THINK in three dimensions.

If Pac-Man were intelligent, he would run away from you, as fast as he could.
