Most of the time, but not always!!!! I found that out the hard way, about 2 years ago. We were TTC, but I got my period, so I thought I wasn't pregnant. I continued to have my period for 2 months, then, I found out I was pregnant when I was almost 12 weeks along!

So, if in doubt, test! There are rare cases where women continue to have their periods during pregnancy. I consider myself a well-educated, very scientific person, and I cannot explain how it's possible. But, it happened to me, and if it happened to me, it can happen to anyone!

Here is the only article I have been able to find that actually supports the evidence, that some women continue to have their periods during pregnancy.
