Well, let me start by prefacing this by saying I know things can always be worse, but just this past weekend I decided to rearrange the furniture in my rather large living room.
I have been a bit depressed lately and thought that if I freshened things up a bit I might be able to lift my spirits.
I was quickly discouraged as I moved one chair to discover a water bottle that had been used to house my husband's chewing tobacco spit! :::Puke:::
I moved the sofa and discovered another! :::Puke again::::
Then my daughter, seeing the tears of disgust in my eyes (Because I have had fits about this before---lots of times), checked under the sofa further to discover yet another bottle.
I proceeded to leave all three bottles on the front porch and tied my "Happy Anniversary" balloon that he gave me last week with my flowers to the tallest bottle.
I would say it is a pretty bad weekend when the husband you have been married to for 5 years repulses you with his presence. ---PS We are still not talking!

I think it was 1987. I was supposed to go see Motley Crue, but the van I was in with some acquaintances blew a tire. We were stranded and by the time we got to the show, Will Call had closed and we couldn't get our tickets and all we could do was sit outside and listen.
It was the year they released "Girls, Girls, Girls" and Tommy Lee had that 360 degree drum set platform.
BTW, we were listening to Motley Crue all the way over, and from then on, I NEVER listen to the band I'm seeing on the day of the show. Radio doesn't count.

I think it was around my twelfth birthday. My parents said i could pick any amusement park that I wanted to go to. The problem was my sister could bring a friend and I couldn't. So I spent my birthday weekend by myself because my had my dad to hang out with and my sister had her friend to hang out with. I never felt so lonely or had a worse time. I remember when we got home i had a really big fight with my parents about it and didn't speak to them for about a week,
