we are talkin about the same people who elected bush twice. they will never elect a "n#gg#r" or a "b#tch" into office. and if they did.. im pretty sure they will not finish term. i want to see the first black president to step out of office. thats why colin powells wife said there is no way in hell he is running for president because he will be assainated. smart woman. lets be real and think about who is actually voting in these elections. i would love to see it. i really would be reality is there are too many racist out there who believe this country can only be lead by a white male. and i disagree with that. but i just dont see a lot of americans as ready to accept that yet. bleak i know but thats realitly

I would feel great about it and very proud because if there is a Black man as our President that is a sign that Blacks in America are making great progess and that the color line is dissolving.

i would have voted for jesse jackson years ago.but obama not so much he is nice looking charming and has given at least 1 great speech but i feel he lacks true leadership qualites and no i did not vote for bush either time.i hope whomever is elected they are graced with good sense and morals and are not just trying to be popular.we need a president who can lead our nation on all fronts in peace and in time of war.good luck.

I would rather a qualified black dude than a woman.
If we elected a woman the radical extremist would have no fear of us and we would be in grave danger. By the way, Obama would be a miserable excuse for a president.

it's not what we think it's what leaders of other countries will think. they will have a hard time accepting that a dark man controls the most powerful nation on this planet, (unless the US is in ruins and that is the reason why there is a black president) those leaders may shift their attention to europe. without europe and asia being our allies this country will fall apart.

I don't really care what color the president is, as long as he's nothing like George W. Bush, not a republican, and is a good leader.
