what does it mean to be a complete person?

it means to be a jack of all trades, yet a master of none, or better yet, one.

that is my secret to you.

i'm a guy, who was recently told me: "what a catch". I'm smart, a devout christian who reads the bible, fun, athletic, and artistic knows practically alot about everything and can be funny. however, the one master thing i am is technology, and I plan to become successful by inventing something like bill gates did or something....heh i hope.

anyways.

remember, be a jack of all trades, yet a master of none, or better yet, one.

I truly believe there can be no such concept, since life, one's own evolution is part of a continuing progress.
If one were complete, what need would they have to continue experiencing life, which throws your way all kinds of things, continuously?
I think "complete" is saying, as close to healthy, sane, self realized aware so that one is part of a healthy, productive, cooperational social consciousness.
There are people, the Dalai Lama for example who are called enlightened, complete, but even such a person would sincerely exclaim that they are still in life learning and responding to what they learn according to how mentally, emotionally, soulfully, spiritually healthy they are!
Hope to half helped a little?

Charlie's Angel's answer (above) was right on the mark. I would just like to add one more thing to it.

A complete person takes complete responsibility for their own life. They don't blame other people or life's circumstances for the problems or issues of their life.

Also, they accept themselves as they are - the good, the bad, and the ugly.

when someone is a "complete person" they have a confidence in who they are, they are willing to help others to be the best they can be. they dont feel the need to fill a void with vices or people.
they are happy and content with who they are and see the world and life as it really is.

hope this helps. just my opinion.
