gases build up inside it and it will bloat big time, heat just accelerates the natural process mainly

As soon as a person gasps his/her last the bacteria set in and begin their work of colonisation.

This energy releases gases which cause the body to bloat until it finally bursts. (sorry but that's they way of all flesh !!!!)

If the body is heated, the process of bacterial growth is speeded up and the bloating to bursting happens more quickly.

In hot countries there are laws which state that a dead body must be buried or burned or disposed of according to the religion of that country - within 24 hours of death to prevent toxicity.

I live in Greece and bodies which are dead in the early hours of the morning have to be buried by the afternoon of that same day, because of the heat.

Presuming it is not being cooked in unnatural high heat and burning up, bacteria and maggots will consume it. The bloating comes from gas produced by bacteria. It doesn't "just rot". The appearance and aroma of rot is actually bacteria at work.

The decaying process is accelerated. There is no expansion because skin is a bad conductor of heat!!

Also, the level of heat is critical here. If you are talking of 999 degrees C then clearly the body would be cremated so they say!!

Depends on how high the heat is, also on the method of cooking. Naturally a slow roast will leave the flesh tender and grilling will drain off most of the fat. But to be honest, sliced thinly, fried with butter, garlic and plenty (and I mean plenty) of chopped parsley and garlic, maybe finished off with a little cream......yummmmm
