I am 14 years of age.

Talent, you've either got it or you don't, if not don't waste your time.
The ability to work long and hard at what you want to do is as important, if you have talent (at whatever) it will not be a struggle, more like winning in a really tough game/sport.
Good idea to learn all the basics well so you know what you're talking about: English, History and all the others. Also do drama and get involved with the Footlights etc.

You need to get hired to do an acting job. Go to an audition, try out and get a part. After a certain amount of work you will need an agent but that could be years down the road or not happen at all. Taking some speaking classes, stage movement classes, singing, dancing will help out. But in the end it's all about being at the right place at the right time and meeting the right people. Even with a degree in theater you could find yourself with out a job.

I should think: an excellent memory, a quicker sense of wit and repartee (that is, come up with a quick, classy, and perhaps funny reply, as the case may be). And some natural talent doesn't hurt - on top of theater school

A natural gift for your chosen craft which is acting ,,,then find a teacher and get some lessons and try out for all the community things and school plays and this will give you first hand experience with your studies,Of becoming use to stage and how things are done and Good Luck

talent and you can go to an acting school where they will train you to become more skilled as an actor. It will also give you the opportunity to build connections with other actors and people in the industry.

The only requirement you need to aquire inorder to become an actor are personal connections. It's not about "YOU". It's about "WHO" you know.
