It was probably for the best that you did move out. The debt would have caused more stress for you than you needed. The relationship must of been strained also for him to have gave up. Some give up to easy when things start getting rough. Thank God you didn't get in over your head with such debt and as hard as it has to be for you, it will be better and your problably better off.

There is no such thing as the perfect relationship as you wll learn in time. Unforeseen things (like loss of job) happen all the time and usually at the most unopportune moment. No one can see the futue and foretell these things but its at these times when true love comes thru. Together you two would have gotten thru this and moved on but you bailed on him in his time of need which then leads to questioning just how much did you really love him. But crap happens all the time. With time and experience one learns how to handle these little lifes challenges. Good luck

Your the one that gave up . The economy sucks its not like you can walk out and get a decent job in one day . A whore walks away from a man that doesn't have any money not your family . You probably did him a favor.

Who's the quitter? Did you leave only because of "too much debt", sounds like you did not love this man to begin with.

Are you asking if you are a quitter? Yes but then that is why people shouldn't live together unless they are married.
