and that caused you to be late for another meeting that you were 100% certain was a done deal and they lost interest because you were late?
I haven't either, but I have turned some reps away if they missed their appointed times.

yes I have...many times..& it's cost me lost of money...
I keep saying it won't happen again, & I can't let it happen again...I
'm just the type who has to let each client have their deserved space......money is big in the 60 plus ...

I haven't lost any business because being tied up, but I had an interesting experience last week.
I had 3 hearings in one day...9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. My 11:00 a.m. hearing should have been over long before noon, which would have given me enough time to get lunch, drive 20 minutes back to the office, meet my client and drive over the other court for my next hearing. However, the cases scheduled for 11:00 a.m. didn't start until 11:50...I was running a little late.
I made it to the court on time, but it was close.
I did have a client show up 20 minutes late for an appointment on a Saturday. I had already locked the door. I don't schedule Saturday appointments anymore.

I actually set up appointments for reps in my industry and let me tell you I get so mad if the reps are late or no shows for the appointments - it cuts into my commission - and it makes the company look bad

Don't blame you...in a professional environment you should be early to any appointment and base your schedule accordingly even if that means getting up 10 minutes earlier.

No but there was the one guy who came home and his wife said he could tie her up and do anything he wanted to do. So he tied her up and went out to play golf
