I have been dating my girlfriend for over a year and a half and we lived together for about a year of that. We had a short term break up in January for about 3 weeks. During that time I started talking to my ex again. I feel like my ex is who I am suppose to be with. But for some reason this new girl still has my heart and I just can't let her go. What should I do? My ex has been in love with me since we broke up 2 years ago. Am I just feeling this way because I was having trouble in my current relationship or should I go back to my ex after all of this time? Please help.

Whoa! Sorry... I actually do not live with either me and my girlfriend moved back in with our parents cause we are in school. Me before her... and I did stop talking to the ex before I got back with my curretnt girl. I told her I needed to figure things out before we started talking again.

You are one confused dude. You can love more than one person at a time, but in the end you can only choose one. You should back off for a while. Concentrate on school, let your head and emotions cool down. In the meantime, examine why you broke up with the first girls. If the reasons for that breakup haven't changed then why would you want to start that relationship up again? Also, you should examine your heart and decide if you are really ready for any committed relationship. Perhaps you keep breaking up with women because your real priority is school. You need to be honest with them and yourself.

feelings can get pretty confusing when youre having trouble in a current relationship. if you truly love the girl you live with, then ignore the ex. you guys obviously broke up for something, and if that was working for 2 years then it mustve been a good reason. stay with the girl youre with now. The other girl is just the past.

I agree with Al4kitten1, make the comparison list, but DON'T let either girl find the list or it's BIG trouble for you! Remember the Friends episode where Ross did that with Rachel and Julie? Turned out to be a disaster for him (Sorry had to throw that in, lol!).

Otherwise you should just be on your own for a while.

keep it in your pants. Break up with them both and be single in till you decide who you want to be with. Be a grown up and don't cheat and be a slime bucket. Stop talking to your ex if you are living with your current. That is a shitty thing to do.
Grow up and decide without hurting either of them

You need to back away from both of them and decide who means more to you.
