I've tried everything, but I can't scrub anymore and the burnt on overflow from making dinner last night still isn't coming off!

Preferably a method that doesn't ruin them and require me to buy new ones.

They r the removable 2 pc kind- and no one ever has the 2 pc kind in the right size...plus I live in a rental and they'll charge me if I don't have the original ones. They've just never gotten like this where I can't get them clean before, it's usually really easy!

OK people...I have scrubbed them w/ everything under the sun already- this includes steel wool and SOS pads...and the oven cleaner sprays (Easy Off) can't be used- if u read the back it says it corrodes them...

I used Cascade diswasher detergent. I would just fill my sink with very, very hot water, add one- half cup of Cascade, let the pans soak for a few minutes, then wipe clean with a sponge, and - presto- they were clean and shiny!!

Good Luck!

Are these the removeable drip pans? Soak in hot ammonia and water for awhile then use steel wool (I'm assuming these are stainless steel or similar) . Once clean, cover in aluminium foil before returning to the stove. Or just buy new ones. They aren't that expensive.

With 1 or 2 Tablespoon´s of baking powder and enough warm water not hot,, to cover the stain. Leave for 10 min´s it should come off. You might have to repeat, but it should lift the first time round. Add more baking powder if needed

You can use Easy-Off. First, wear gloves, if you dont want to ruin your hands. Second, use a Brillo sponge. Apply the Easy-Off leave it for a couple of minutes and scrub. It will take time depending on how much the burning food is stuck. Repeat as much as needed. If you keep scrubbing, it wont corrode.

well, the new ones are pretty cheap, but you can probably soak and scrub with lots of dishsoap. It's a little weird looking, but you can cover them with tinfoil and put them back. That way, when they get soiled, you can just peel off the foil and replace.

If you have an oven with a clean cycle, try putting them in there and on the clean cycle. it will still need some scrubbing after but it should be fine.
try an sos pad or or oven cleaner spray.
