It depends on the person, some people who go through puberty have to shave sooner. I remember when i was in elementary school, a girl started shaving in 2nd grade. i pesonally didnt need to until 5th. So it just depends on teh girl. Once your leg hair gets dark and noticable, i would start shaving. lol.

I don't think there is an age, but when you feel it is needed. That age can differ with each girl.. My daughter (11) needs to shave her armpits and I do this for her right now, but her legs do not need it. Her friend that is 11 did not need to shave her legs but does anyway. Personally I feel don't start it until you are uncomfortable with the way it looks then you can start. Once you start the hairs grow quicker, longer then you have to do it more often...

Well I started shaving my legs in the middle of 6th grade. But for you it may be different. If you really dislike the hair on your legs right now, ask your mom to try out shaving. Hope that helps!

I started plucking my eyebrows around eleven or twelve and I started shaving my legs and underarms a little while after.
A kind of rule-of-thumb you can use is this: are the hairs on my legs visible at a glance or brief stare? If the answer is yes, you should probably start. No, and you can wait a little while longer.

Sixth grade (about age 11-12). I think once a girl starts middle school she wants to wear a bra, etc., and shaving goes with this. As long as she is taught correctly, she should be old enough to be responsible with a razor.

If dark headed and the hairs are dark on the legs...might be a good time.
If the person is being made fun of because they are dark, ask your parents for permission before doing so, but this would be a good time.

I started shaving when I was 11. When it starts to bother you the most then I guess you should. When it's really noticeable or whenever you feel comfortable doing it.

If you think it doesn't look neat anymore then shave it. In my opinion there is no right age for things like that.
