I'd say it's fair. At stores in my area, they sell for closer to $2.50-$3.50 female, $3-$5 male, so anyone wanting them would get a break on the price.

I also have a interior of sight with somce effective guppies. I commerce her some keep credit, generally in fish nutrition, for her guppies. actually, we would furnish like 10 cents a male. Guppies are great inexpensive fish and all human beings and their mom breeds them. we've them breedign approximately as rapid as we sell them LOL

If you can get that much for them, go for it.
At one local fish store, for the ones that are not "show quality" the are $1.50 for each male, $1 for each female or a trio for $3. A trio is two females and one male. You have to cull the weakest ones, as nobody wants them other than feeders.

Personally, i find this a decent deal, considering that in the UK we pay around £3 per pair (Around $6)

All i am going to say is that you must ensure that you have grown your fish into healthy, fuly grown guppies. I hope that this helped you. :]
