okay recently i have been trying to download things like the new yahoo messenger, music, etc. before i used to download music with no problem. well now when i try to download anything an error pops up saying "your security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded". can anybody help? i know i posted this before i need details people tell me what to do but im not sure im not really good with computers like that. people tell me to change firewall settings or internet security but i dont know where to go. so please help

my security settings are medium still doesnt help.

..go to tools on top of your page...then go to internet options...then to advance...then restore defaults...then download the new yahoo messenger or other things you might want...hope this helps.

This is a setting in Internet Explorer. Go to Tools...Internet Options, select the "Security" tab, click on the "Custom level..." button, then scroll down until you get to the "Downloads" section. Below that you will find "File downloads". Click on the "Enable" button, then click OK until you're all the way out.

Check your security settings - from Internet Explorer -
Internet Options

Review settings for Security, Privacy, and Content. I have mine set to medium and so far haven't had any problem.
