They apparently just woke up from their winter getaway someplace close by and are getting ready to fly off. Ladybird beetles spend the winter in large colonies.....not sleeping or reproducing, just hanging out with each other. Come spring they fly off.

Let them be, they'll leave after they say their good-byes.

Go to your local hardware store and look for (not sure of the spelling) the chemical "malathion" (mal-a-thigh-on). It kills bugs, even hard to kill ones like ladybugs quickly and it isn't harmful for your pets or yourself.

Or you can vacuum them up and throw away the bag after you tape up the hole.
