CAMERAS AND CAMCORDERS
Still and video cameras are welcome in PETCO Park. Guests are asked to avoid standing in the aisles while using video equipment, obstructing the views of others, or using tripods or monopods.
The San Diego Padres reserve the right to request that guests discontinue filming or taking pictures on ballpark property.

I agree that Disneyland is a smaller version of Disneyland/Epcot. That said, your 6 year old will still love it. The zoo will be a little better than a day in the park. If she found out you chose the zoo over Disneyland she would likely not be happy about it.

You do need the Zoo's permission to take still or video pictures for sale or professional use. So you can't do a fashion shoot, sell the animal pictures to a stock photo site, etc. without advance notice. I imagine its the same at the ballpark.

You sure can! Not a problem at either location. I was just there and did the whole tourist thing.
Have fun!
